The Headmaster's Club - University School's legacy recognition society

In 1991, University School established The Headmaster's Club to recognize those alumni, parents and friends who have established planned gift arrangements or provided for US in their estate plans. It has continued to grow as one of the school's most prestigious recognition societies, thanking donors for the thoughtfulness of their provisions to secure the long-term financial stability of the school in perpetuity.

All members of the Headmaster's Club receive a token of the school's appreciation upon notifying US of their plans. In addition, a cumulative list of members is published each year in the Report of Strategic Direction and Philanthropy and may appear in various other school publications. A member's name will appear only with his or her permission. Members receive special invitations to school events and programs, and during reunion weekend, will be invited to an intimate brunch with Headmaster Steve Murray.

Membership in The Headmaster's Club is purely honorary, carries no obligation and is open to all friends who have demonstrated their commitment to the school's future by including US in their wills, or as beneficiary of a charitable lead trust, life insurance policy, mutual fund or retirement plan or by establishing life income gifts (pooled income funds, charitable remainder trusts, or gift annuities). No gift minimum or proof of bequest intention is required. All are welcome!

The Headmaster's Club expresses the school's gratitude to those thoughtful donors who care enough about US to sustain its mission far beyond the span of a lifetime. In the name of Newton M. Anderson, George D. Pettee, Harry A. Peters, Harold Cruikshank, Rowland P. McKinley, Richard A. Hawley, and Stephen S. Murray, we thank you for joining us in building a strong University School today and ensuring its' security for the future.
